We do not know what made New Balance decide to have a collaboration with Japan-based label X-Girl, but we’re loving the resulting product. The new team-up offers a women’s only sneaker, the MRT580. The sneaker is an iteration of a classic New Balance silhouette inspired by heritage hiking sneakers.
The upper of this new sneaker is made from an amalgam of suede and mesh. Turquoise, beige, grey, and hot pink are the primary colors of the new sneaker, and the hues are contrasted by black on the heel panel. The X-Girl x New Balance MRT580 also comes with an extra set of laces.
